Unified communications explained

Jim Butz and Brad Lewis talk about unified communications and try and clear up some confusion about the market. Jim says that unified communications is a lot more than just IP telephony, it is instead about collaboration and incorporates a host of different solutions. The concept of presence plays an essential role in driving collaboration as it allows user to see if the other party is online and choose the right communications method to contact them. Brad also talks about what Orange has done for a number of customers in unified communications.
