Sorin Group and Orange Business Services develop a remote monitoring solution for cardiac patients

March 18, 2009, Sorin Group, a global medical device company and leader in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, has developed a remote monitoring solution for patients implanted with cardiac rhythm management (CRM) devices in partnership with Orange Business Services. The new solution is based on Sorin's implanted CRM devices' ability to send data to a non-invasive monitoring system located at the patient's home and on Orange Business Services' capability to manage the data transmission to the physician. During the World Communication Awards 2009, this collaborative solution received the "Best Change-Maker" award.
