Maher Hamdi, head of solutions for operators and real estate at Orange Business Services, shared his vision of smart cities projects in the Middle East and North Africa. His involvement in many of the projects being started from scratch in the region gives him an in-depth insight into the needs of developers. He also foresees the concept being applicable to brownfield sites within cities in developed countries.
