Orange Spain helps EMT Malaga improve quality of service and customer experience
EMT Malaga, the public transport company of the city of Malaga, has developed with Orange Spain a fleet management solution to geolocalize its buses using an embedded m2m SIM card. Via GPRS technology, it communicates through a web interface to a display at the bus stop the estimate arrival time of the buses. It also provides real time information to the control centre of EMT on bus status, geographic position and in case of a problem allows calls to be made to the bus driver . Thanks to this solution, EMT improved its quality of service and its customer experience.
