Telepresence explained

Jim Butz and Brad Lewis talk about Telepresence and how it is different from traditional video conferencing. Utilization on Telepresence in some customers reaches up to nearly 100%. Jim tells us that Cisco now has over 630 telepresence rooms deployed, up from 270 two years ago. This has helped them avoid 77,000 trips abroad and saved $309 million in travel expenses. Brad adds that travel avoidance is not the only reason to deploy telepresence, and that another customer SBM Offshore, uses it primarily for product development.
