In partnership with Orange, Intratone, expert in building access control and wireless telephone intercom, creates intercom panels working on GSM network for collective housing. Thanks to the SIM card installed in the entry phones, the visitors can call directly the residents on their mobile or fixed line which allows them to open by clicking on the star key of the telephone. Therefore the residents monitor remotely their building access. The installation costs are reduced because no additional work is necessary. Thanks to this solution, Intratone improves its secure building access control services and can extend its offer to the international market.
Cover box, the unique Pay As You Drive car insurance company in the UK has chosen Orange to develop its m2m based solution. Insurance costs are based on the drivers' driving patterns. An m2m SIM card is installed in the car which monitors driving patterns: how many miles people drive, when they drive and how they drive. This solution allows drivers to consult on internet their driving pattern and adapt it accordingly to reduce their bills.

March 18, 2009, Sorin Group, a global medical device company and leader in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, has developed a remote monitoring solution for patients implanted with cardiac rhythm management (CRM) devices in partnership with Orange Business Services. The new solution is based on Sorin's implanted CRM devices' ability to send data to a non-invasive monitoring system located at the patient's home and on Orange Business Services' capability to manage the data transmission to the physician. During the World Communication Awards 2009, this collaborative solution received the "Best Change-Maker" award.
