Larry Thomas explains SITA's long history and how it was set up to support the technology and communications efforts of the air transport industry (ATI). Jeff Melton adds that SITA actually gave birth Orange Business Services when Equant was spun off out of the organization. In 2001, they formed a strategic alliance, which has recently been renewed, to offer information communications technology (ICT) to the ICT.
